One hour by car from Milan and Turin, on the main trunk roads to neighbouring Switzerland, Orta can be reached easily from the main airports in Piedmont and Lombardy.


How to reach our hotel avoiding a fine:

leaving the “SS 229”, at the roundabout, you go straight on the Panoramic Street (keeping the lake on the right). After “Piazzale Prarondo”, on the right, at the corner with a minigolf ground, you take “Via Poli”. At about 100 meters you will find the entrance gate of Hotel San Rocco taking to our private street coming down to our parking and our underground garage. In case of use of  GPS, please write “Via Poli”.

We beg you to be careful and do not drive into ZTL areas, where cameras are switched on.

The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa airport about 45 km. away. You can book through the hotel, taxi service from the airport at affordable rates.

A8 Lakes Sesto Calende, then A26 towards Gravellona Toce, exit Arona, then SR 142 to SR229 Borgomanero and direction of Gozzano, Orta San Giulio.

From Turin
A4 To Genova or A26 exit Borgomanero, then SR 229 towards Borgomanero Gozzano, Orta San Giulio.
