Born in 1974 in Varese, he began working with Michelin-starred chef Gualtiero Marchesi and in the following years climbed the ranks of the kitchen working at numerous Italian, French, Japanese and Irish starred restaurants.
The Acquerello restaurant became a landmark on the Italian culinary scene, earning its first Michelin star in 2014 and ranking among Italy's top 10 restaurants since 2015.
